St Anton Information & Property Market Summary

Iconic ski resort in Austria’s largest connected ski area, snow sure St Anton plays on the world stage. St Anton attracts keen skiers and has some epic off-piste runs. Excursions to the far reaches of the area, to small unspoilt Tyrolean villages, make perfect lunch stops – Stuben is one of our favourites. The après-ski is legendary, even before you reach the village. Explore the pleasant pedestrianised town centre for a profusion of bars and restaurants.  Hotels rule the roost in the Arlberg, chalet rentals are plentiful, a good selection of appartments present the third option. The Arlberg-Well Centre is a perfect solution for a day off the slopes.

What about property in St Anton? Property ownership rules are stricter in this part of Austria, and as is the case elsewhere in Austria, rental is a condition of ownership by non-residents. Strict planning controls means supply is limited, so yields are generally pretty good. There is barely a property ‘market’ to speak of and there are no estate agents based in St Anton. Those looking to buy here are well served by new developments offering good access to the slopes, onsite pool/spa facilities and rental management options.
