Pass Thurn is the gateway to the Kitzbüheler Alpen. The skilift starts in the village and opens up almost 200 kilometers of pistes. Without using a car you can ski all the way to Kitzbühel. In the summer it is less than half an hour drive until you reach this famous lively town.
In Pass Thurn you will find the best panoramic views of the Hohe Tauern. In the summer you can choose to explore the Hohe Tauern or to go hiking or mountain biking in the Kitzbüheler Alps. In the village itself you will find the entrance to the nature reserve Wasenmoos with hiking trails in the summer and snowy cross country tracks in the winter.
There are many good restaurants in the village and if you are looking for something really special you can drive down the road for five minutes and have a nice dinner at the castle of Mittersill.
